The BRFPA are delighted that former Bristol Rovers Programme Editor and current Supporters Club Secretary Keith Brookman has agreed to re-join our Committee.

Keith’s knowledge of the football club and its personnel down the years is unprecedented. This is evidenced in no small part by the publication of Volume III of The Bristol Rovers Archive. This volume covers the years 2001 to 2006, and though this was not a successful period in the history of the club to say the least it brings back many memories of that time and reminds us that we all support the Gas through thick and thin.

I read the book myself over the holidays and must confess that some of the players referred to had long left my mind but, nonetheless the book is a must read for all Rovers’ fans, especially those that appreciate that we have had more ‘thin’ times then ‘thick’.

The book not only details our journey through those five seasons with words, the volume also contains 100 photographs courtesy of Alan Marshall, Neil Brookman and Jeff Davis.

To Keith’s eternal credit all profit from the sales of the book are being donated to the Supporters Club who have copies for sale in the matchday shop. At a bargain price of only £10 I would recommend this to you all. I hope it brings back the memories of that time as it did for me.
